I pay for Ulysses as part of Setapp and I’ll be the first to say it is NOT worth a subscription model for the updates they provide. After 4 years of using it, I’ve noticed exactly zero of the “updates”, except for their ruining the UX by making it harder to access things or moving things around that didn’t need touching in the first place. And where the hell is the synonym dictionary functionality that Word has had for 20 years?! I’m not impressed with the Ulysses devs or their pricing choices in the slightest.
