I want to say that they listen to the advice we provide, however the last "writers feedback" survey they gave me was a complete joke with no actionable questions or seemingly more than five minutes of thought put into it. I actually wrote them to say they should fire the person that created it.

That being said, they did add multiple features a couple updates ago which I had redesigned and posted on an article a year previously. Whether they actually listened to those ideas or simply followed the same common sense I did when redesigning them is unknown, but I really do hope they are internally curating feedback articles for themselves even when they refuse to 'select for further distribution' any article about Medium or its features.
